Don't disagree with your opinion on the news release for the most part. The only thing is you said "It sounds like they don't want to offer the lab report, or it is not near to being released.  Who would have expected that?" The release says results will be released in "due course". I read that as when they get the results, they will be made public... but that might be the "I want this to be so" side of me too.
