David Miller, counsel at Aird & Berlis LLP, is nominated for election to the board of directors of Northern Iron Corp. at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for May 29th, 2012.

("Northern" or the "Company") (TSXV: NFE) (OTCQX: NHRIF) (FRANKFURT: N8I) announces the nomination of David Miller, the former Mayor of Toronto, currently serving as a legal counsel with the Toronto law firm Aird & Berlis LLP, to stand for election to Northern's board of directors (the "Board") at the Annual General Meeting to be held on May 29th, 2012.
