Sheldon Inwentash, B.Comm., CA., CPA., LL.D
Founder, Chairman and CEO
As Founder, Chairman and CE0, Mr. Inwentash is responsible for formulating a comprehensive strategic vision and setting the direction for ThreeD Capital.
Mr. Inwentash has more than 30 years of investing experience. He co-founded Visible Genetics, the first commercial pharmacogenomics company, in 1994 and exited in 2001 to Bayer. Through two decades leading Pinetree Capital, Mr. Inwentash created significant shareholder value through early investments in Queenston Mining (acquired by Osisko Mining Corp. for $550-million), Aurelian Resources (acquired by Kinross for $1.2-billion) and Gold Eagle Mines (acquired by Goldcorp for $1.5-billion) to name a few.
Sheldon obtained his B.Comm from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. In 2007, he was an Ontario finalist for the Ernst & Young entrepreneur of the year award. In 2012, Sheldon received an honorary degree, doctor of laws (LL.D) from the University of Toronto for his valuable leadership as an entrepreneur, his philanthropy, and inspirational commitment to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and their families.
Gerry Feldman, CPA, CA
Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary
Mr. Feldman brings more than 35 years of experience in mergers and acquisition in the investment community. Mr. Feldman is also the Managing Partner of DNTW Toronto LLP Chartered Professional Accountants. Mr. Feldman received his CA designation in 1985 and is a member of the Canadian Public Accountability Board and a member in good standing with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and Ontario. Mr. Feldman has decades of experience in managing clients in specialized sectors including, securities dealers, mutual fund dealers, mutual funds, exempt market dealers, portfolio managers, investment counselors and public companies, and is an approved panel auditor for the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.
Binh Quach, CPA, CMA
Mr. Quach is an operational and financial manager with 20 years of experience. He has broad experience in all aspects of accounting, financial, and corporate management, both public and private. Mr. Quach is a member in good standing with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and Ontario, with an Honours Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University. He is the CFO of both GoldSpot Discoveries Inc. and New Found Gold Corp., as well as Co-Founder of Advanced Asset Administration Inc.
Wayne V. Isaacs
Mr. Isaacs has had both as a corporate executive of resource companies and as an investment banker. This extensive experience has allowed him to successfully seek out and engage and acquire significant resource assets and financing to support exploration, development and mining activities for his operating and investee companies. He has been involved as principal in 30 listed companies and has served as a director and / or senior officer of over 35 listed companies.
Mr. Isaacs has won several business, and achievement awards, and he has chaired and participated in many international resource discussions and has been featured in various media in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Mr. Isaacs is a graduate of the prestigious University of Western Ontario and has held numerous securities certifications and licenses. Since resigning his position with Augustine in October 2012, Mr. Isaacs has been active consulting domestically and internationally in mining and explorations and remains active in seeking undervalued businesses for acquisition on behalf of his clients.
Alan Myers, F.C.A.
Mr. Myers is a UK Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of professional and business experience. He started his career with Ernst and Young in Manchester, England followed by two years with Price Waterhouse in Toronto, Canada. From there, Mr. Myers moved into industry where he served as Controller at Wang Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of a major U.S. computer manufacturer, Chief Financial Officer at Hudson Bay Diecasting, a Toronto based public company in the auto parts industry, and Chief Financial Officer/Acting General Manager at E-Connect, an innovative broadband services provider which was bought out by AT&T. Since then, Mr. Myers has been operating his own successful consulting practice providing clients with financial services including assistance with raising venture capital, tax consulting, financial systems implementation, and accounting. He has also served on the boards of two resource-based exploration stage public companies.
Mr. Inwentash is also a senior analyst at ThreeD, where he leads the trading of cryptocurrencies and focuses on identifying, researching, and meeting with early stage companies in various disruptive industries. Previously, he worked in investment banking for Gravitas Securities Inc. where he conducted due diligence of public and private companies, built marketing materials for clients, and developed financial models. Jakson also worked for the Bank of Montreal in several departments within the Wealth Management line of business including ETF Products, Fundamental Equities, Private Banking, and InvestorLine.
Mr. Inwentash graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a Major in Finance. He has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.
Mr. Gray is a geologist registered with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (“APGO”). With more than 28 years of experience in exploration, resource development, and operations management, he maneuvers effectively within the Resource Sector. During his tenure Mr. Gray has held senior management positions with successful producers including Placer Dome, Anglo America, Troy Resources and Kirkland Lake Gold. In addition to holding Directors positions on several Junior Mining Companies, Mr. Gray operates a consulting business providing professional services related to mineral exploration and resource development in Canada, the US, and abroad.
