I had a phone call with my accountant yesterday regarding taxes for 2012.

I have yet to write-off the loss generated as a result of the Nanopierce fantasies we were served up.

I think the total loss from my investment in Nanopierce through my one person business is on the order of $75,000. That doesn't include my personal investment loss which was realized, and for which I will have a tax benefit for another 12 or 13 years.

On the bright side, I haven't been tempted in the least to invest in any leading edge companies. I learned an important lesson via Nanopierce. Management of a small company can either be completely honest and transparent, or they can be incompetent, or they can be outright crooks. I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion regarding Nanopierce... My mind has already been made up.
