There is pleasure in trust and innocence that is never replaced when you become cynical.

It`s painful to be taken, and it`s poisonous to never trust.

If you`re never taken then you`re likely bitter and insufferable.

If you`ve always taken advantage of then you are a fool.

It doesn`t feel it should have to be this way, but it just is.

I hope all of us remember that being happy is still more a decision than happenstance. I remind myself often.
