Caspian Energy appoints Barnaba to board

CASPIAN ENERGY INC. APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR

Caspian Energy Inc. has appointed Maurizio Barnaba to its board of directors, following his election on June 24, 2008.

Mr. Barnaba is currently managing director of Efame Export Ltd., an entity which focuses on trading and providing financial, commercial, marketing and technical consultation in Europe, North Africa and Middle East, for defence and oil and gas products. His educational credentials include a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and a further degree in economics, finance and marketing.

Additional information on Mr. Barnaba (aged 59) to be disclosed in relation to Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM rules for companies can be found below.

Mr. Barnaba owns 100 per cent and is a director of Efame Export which is interested in 8,897,361 shares (7.3 per cent) of the company.
