I agree with everything you are saying Jay and it looks like the basics were overlooked and not taken advantage of especially when the timing would have been beneficial. In my mind there really is only one explanation that can make sense and that is that there is more to the story and that discussions between the companies prior to the JV includes an agreement in principal that needs to work around Teck's timelines. People need to remember that the Teck buyout of Fording Coal brought serious scrutiny and the timing almost put the company under, something I'm sure they will never allow to happen again. Only time will tell
