AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

Message: Copilot AI answer to the question

That answer of $4.2 Billion makes no sense.  Shocking and gross miscalculation by AI.

Just our 25% of the copper at SC is worth nearly twice that.  7,760,000,000 LBs X 25% X $4.26 = $8,264,400,000 USD.

The text in that calculation appears to indicate that AI grossly underestimated the USD value of Schaft Creek, but it also appears to have ignored VD completely.  Once it has a total value, note that it then goes on to calculate the value in USD.  Ummmm, excuse me Mr A.I., but you already did that!  The prices per pound are already in USD!

My guess is that AI took its incorrect total value answer (M&I Schaft CreeK only) and divided that by a USD index value like 106 (current USD index value)

Yikes!  There could be lots of AI misinformation out there!
