AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Have a great Sunday, especially those of you like me that are celebrating Orthodox Easter ... As well as those of you who are also like me and mourning another Maple Leafs Game 7 exit ... Ugggh!

Sincerely,

George et al

Message: Re: Interaction between Li-Tec and Litarion ?

"Question: The fact that the LG-Daimler supply deal is only for the Smart EV in 2016, do you consider that as a hint that there could be something in the works between Daimler/Litec, Litarion/Electrovaya and LG"

Still do not see why LG should be in the loop with Electrovaya, Daimler set back on plan to make their own battery cell and purchase LG cell (as many others top notch automotive) while expanding their own battery pack business with LG cells BUT they mention in past article that Li-Tec will be maintained as a research location, so battery manufacturing equipment still stand next door to Litarion, so could be available for R&D collaboration and maybe assembling of litarion electrodes in cells (tolling contract).

Li-Tec will be retained as a research location; the majority of the 280 employees will be transferred to the Deutsche Accumotive—also a wholly owned Daimler subsidiary—which manufactures battery packs. Accumotive is currently expanding its production capacity to build systems for the next generation of the electric smart among others. Cells are slated to come from LG Chem.
