For instance this is Kokam's latest offering for industrial batteries after "four years of extensive R&D and product development efforts".  http://www.greencarcongress.com/2017/03/20170306-kokam.html  They offer up to 150 wh/kg and over 6,000 cycles compared to Electrovaya/Litarion at 165 wh/kg and 9,000 cycles. In the forklift sector I haven't found a company that is competitive with Electrovaya/Litarion. If they have a cycle life that is competitive with Electrovaya's it is a different chemistry and does not come close to the energy density and if the energy density is greater the cycle life is poor in comparison. I really think they are going to dominate this area.
