Message: ICG #4 Plug - Resource Estimate

From the published data (some latest info are given in NRs of 19 April and 28 June 2016) I would offer an initial resource estimate assuming a simple geometry "a cylindrical plug" with D=175m and H=1000m. This is a crude approximation, just to give an order of magnitude estimate. We can use this as a base line to adjust the results (up or down). A retangular box like a skyscraper with L=200m, W=150m, H=1000m would give a larger volume, so the use of a cylindrical plug with D=175m would be more conservative. Also, note that the structure seems to get larger with depth.

The math:

Volume of Rock: 3.14 x 175 x 175/4 x 1000 = 24 M m3

Weight: 24 M m3 x 2.8 = 67.2 M tonnes

RE: 67 Mt rock x 5.2 gpt (grade used by Teck back in 1967, when it pulled out 0.145M t rock from #3 Mine)/31 g per oz = 11.2 MozAu.

11 M oz seems little too much to take, then let's trim it down by a factor of 2 and 3 respectively

11M/2 = 5.5 Moz

11M/3 = 3.6 Moz (grade of 5gpt assumed)

So, we are talking millions oz for #4 Plug compared to current number of 0.140Moz (current total Lamaque et al is 1.67 Moz).

It would seem that Triangle and #4 Plug would able to support a 5000 tpd Sigma Mill to produce over 200,000 ozAu/year.

Kindly check my math for fatal errors.
