Message: Battery Company in Reno

They are located in Big Smoky Valley, just north of Clayton Valley.  Clayton Valley is home to Albermarle's producing Nevada lithium mine and to many wannabees.  American Battery Technology is way behind the development of where LAC is and their BoD just approved a 15:1 Reverse Split.

I don't see ABTC as being something that will develop quickly, on the other hand they did get approved for a big DOE loan so that have that step ahead of where LAC would like to be regarding Thacker Pass.  They must not have had any Chinese government or Chinese company entanglements in order to get that DOE money.  Don't know that for a fact, but it would be a surprise to find out that they had a Ganfeng type partner in the wings.  Then again, if they do have a Mandarin speaking partner under the same bed sheets the question has to be:  How did they do that and get past the scrutiny of the DOE considering the bias of the U.S. government against companies interdigitating with the Chinese at this current moment in geopolitical intrigue?

As for the battery recycling portion of ABTC, there are more fish in that sea here in Nevada. Redwood Materials is a private company with plans for a Nevada operation.  RecycLiCo is a Canadian Small Cap with big plans for lithium battery recycling as well, although their pilot plant is being built in B.C.

The whole field of recycling lithium batteries is beginning to explode... maybe with the subject of lithium batteries "explode" is the wrong word to describe it, but it is a growth area and the future for it is huge.  The same technologies used to reclaim lithium out of spent batteries is also used to reclaim other valuable materials as well.  Doom and Gloom predictions about vast waste land areas full of spent lithium batteries belongs with the same waste basket where someone once tossed the idea that "New Coke" was going to propel Coca Cola profits to the moon and back.  Recycling technology is making tremendous strides to solve problems regarding spent lithium batteries and will make it a non problem for the future.

At the same time, it makes for a good investment opportunity.  How many retail investors wish that Redwood Materials was open to selling them shares in their company, eh?  Can't get there from here.  But many of the other players in this future booming market are available to retail investors.  If you  ride the right horse it could put you in the winner's circle.

Now, let's just see how far away from that Winner's Circle LAC and LAAC will be in 2024?

About time!
