That is fair to say. 

They rode the company into the ground. In my opinion

And when they tried to branch out they failed.

And as for the legal stuff I don't they had an attorney they really seemed to really and truly understand or know what they had and what it could or couldn't do. 

I guess there could be something I'm missing as to their rhyme and reason.

Maybe there was or wasn't some shady or greedy people involved. Maybe the company or the chips heck maybe certain individuals were milked for all they were worth.

Baffling? yes. Puzzling? yes.

I just tried to ignore that and focus on the positives or be positive.
