They have been deal killers when they stand to benefit from that deal being killed. i. e. they can claim the actual territory because it was never ceded like in BC., yet still part of Canada as we know it today.

They have been great negotiators otherwise. Like in Northern Quebec wih the Cree.

They may not kill the deal if they have treaty, but they won't let it happen if they don't get a fair to good share on their end. I suspect otherwise, Ontario will bring it to court if they don't settle reasonably.

They are very good at using media for their own ends.
