I think this is a classic 'your guess is as good as mine'. The main issue appears to be who owns what. If someone is only buying cherry picked assets there will have to be a second round to dispose of the the remaining assets in the subsidiary. The parent, OIL could in fact be the succesful bidder on the 2nd round (if they could muster up the $$$)
