Good morning,

I only now caught up with this forum. Seems to be an acute outbreak of the investor fatigue syndrome again with some venting here and at the TSX.V. Some of you obviously took the advice to sell and move on. Okay, so be it.

I for one am happy to see Chris posting here again. His resp. the company's message didn't surprise me. In summary, the company won't release any information unless it is absolutely unavoidable due to exchange or regulatory requirements. The reasons are

  • not to "sacrifice the integrity of POET’s competitive position as an emerging breakthrough technology within the semiconductor industry" (so there is one),
  • not to "place undue expectations unto POET with regards to milestone deliverables" (which we have seen here so many times).

Okay, so our list of questions will not be answered directly, but rather indirectly – at least possibly – by influencing contents or wording of news releases.

As everyone, I'd like to receive updates much more frequently. However, I am accepting the above reasons for secrecy – all for the higher goal!
