Here are my thoughts:

If we were in any danger of being overcome there would have been a NR announcing the disbanding of the TRAB, and the departure of TB.

If we were in any danger of being overcome Dr.T would've never said "all roads lead to POET".

If we were in any danger of being overcome, our CEO, COO, and nearly ever other top-ranking official in the company would not have left promising careers at their previous employers for POET.

If we were in any danger of being overcome the company would not have signed the recent supply agreements with ANAD and Wavetek.

Yes, the big players will not like this one bit, but that's tough, they're going to have to get used to it. There has been a lot of news recently about photonics, and that's no mistake; there are rumours floating around that is the new frontier.
