Message: The bottom line

There's an argument to be made, that if Suresh didn't pivot our company in 2016 away from GaAs and the 4th terminal issue, POET would already be dead.  

 

The change in direction was based on the CEO's understanding of the the industry, and its immediate need. The subsequent invention of an Optical Interposer should be seen as a triumph.

 

But what's happened since, is incredibly underwhelming. I realize, that for a company to change fundamental architecture to a new platform, costing potentially BILLIONS of dollars, is a big step.  The onus is on POET to demonstrate the value, and benefits.  They need to do the same with potential retail and institutional shareholders.  This is where they've fallen flat on their faces.
