As a former holder of ARU stock i too was at the time screaming sellout!!! Today I am extremely grateful that Kinross came along when it did. I couldn't even imagine how low ARU would be trading today-- three years later and still the political overhang of the Equador government. In hindsight, we were lucky. those of us who sold our K shares and warrants and reinvested in other plays (SGR one of them) came out very well. My point is that perhaps, the directors, the institutional investors and other major shareholders knew/know a little more than we do. JMHO
