Just back from NPL. Was maybe a little too early for the true summer but still nicer than what I missed here. Am told that Methanex is taking all the natgas that producers can pump and still have another prodution train that they could bring online if gas was available. So I hope Tag keeps pushing ahead with their stepout wells at Cheal to take advantage while demand is there. East Coast shale gas doesn't seem to have any profile in NZ but did talk to someone from a smaller service company who said they had just hired a fraccing specialist but wasn't certain what he was going to work on.
