Let's face it, PK "negotiated" a terrible deal (terrible for us, CMM shareholders). Where Finskiy made the miscalculation was his conviction that Lamaque could easily make the repayment as the mine was "ramping up" to commercial production. That turned out to be wrong; in fact Lamaque required more & more money to make it "work". So Finskiy decided to pull the plug.
