Yankee Hat Issues Shares for Debt

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2009) - Yankee Hat Minerals Ltd. ("Yankee Hat" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:KHT) - Further to our news release of March 11, 2009, the Company announces that the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted filing for a second shares for debt transaction. The Company has issued 2,824,298 common shares to extinguish $141,214.88 of debt.

Following this debt settlement Yankee Hat will have 80,278,836 common shares issued and outstanding.
