Actually,graphite can be made with coal when heated to 2980 degrees.Graphite is abundant in a lot of countries all over the world but mostly of the low grade,low quality kind.The Albany graphite is still the only one with the largest deposit of vein graphite in the world.

I am not certain if the Chinese can use these coal turned graphite to be converted to bad graphene.I bet they will try if they could.
