Good post and points, HKIPP, and I applaud your efforts to diplomatically encourage Mr. Gross to make himself available to shareholders.
Having said that, I have to say, speaking for myself, that I don't believe he sees himself as working on behalf of shareholders, and therefore has no need to explain himself. I believe he sees himself as a brilliant businessman and lawyer who's only encumbrance is shareholders.
As you say, though, a public Q&A or address could help to either confirm or dispel such notions. I hope he takes you up on that.
