Gold and silver rode the roller-coaster today. They fell off their high after the war in the Middle East seemed to have ceased as quickly as it began. Gold and silver then went or nearly went into negative territory, only to catch a strong bounce that faded into the market closing a few minutes ago.
Gold closed up $12.50 to $2,390.50.
Silver closed up 47 cents to $28.65.
Copper closed green, though it was essentially flat at $4.4206 (compared to $4.4176 yesterday).
