I was just making some inquiry about proxy forms with someone in Head Office and was told that nobody of management is in the office today, as they (not Murry) just came back yesterday from a tour in Europe.
Of course we don't know what this was all about, but the stock has not done anything in Frankfurt or here for that matter. Since there has been no news to really sink your teeth into, what all are they talking about to prospective investors?
So, could it be that they were there to talk with some of the big players there regarding a possible buyout (Glencore is in Switzerland)? Now I'm really speculating (but positive).
I thought that they are all so busy with negotiations and preparing for the spin off, etc., then there had to be a good reason to go to Europe.
Just always wondering.
My thoughts anyway.
