This is to inform shareholders that our recently signed Petition; the Majority Voting Policy request, has been sent to ALL of the members of these Advisory Committees. Below is what these advisory committees do and the full list of contact information. Any shareholder feel free to call and/or email any of the members in this list to complement the Petition if you wish.
We are getting some limited response back on the related Petition, and for me, I am seeing an elevated response with recent emails, that have taken on a more personal response, rather than a generic scripted response that is usually received, so over all, the signs indicate a piqued interest, if you will. Some responses are seeing assistance in directing to me to the apprpriate places for the required research and the obtaining of documents, I appreciate this increased approach and competence from certain party,s.
Just to note; I would like to point out that a perhaps conflict of interest may have risen between Charlotte Bell and shareholders here in the past because of her association with the law firm that she is a participating member in, that SLI management may have used in early proceedings against the Dissident Shareholders. At that same time and prior, Charlotte Bell had received personal letters/emails from shareholders that were not publisized at that time. I have no idea, nor am I implying that by her having perhaps confidential information before hand, while her firm may have been representing SLI management in some way, effected/affecting any outcomes of legal proceedings in the past in respect to our court battles.
The Petition has been sent to these members below in consideration of the impact that our Petition may represent in regards to the public interest as well as a possible jeopardy to integrity of the markets, if it is not implimented. The Petition/ or resemblance of, will continuously be publisized to an expanding extent until such time as it is effective or duly considered by appropriates and a firm decision has been made and distributed to concerned shareholders.
thank you

TSX Venture Exchange has established four Local Advisory Committees and a National Advisory Committee to provide advice and recommendations to the Exchange on all policy, operational and strategic issues that are likely to have a significant impact on the public venture capital market and the role of the Exchange in relation thereto. The Committees meet on a quarterly basis.
A Local Advisory Committee has been established for each of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec. The membership of each Local Advisory Committee is comprised of local individuals who have current relevant experience and expertise pertaining to both Exchange-listed issuers and the public venture capital market.
The National Advisory Committee is comprised of three members of each of the Local Advisory Committees and essentially serves as an extension of the Local Advisory Committees. The role of the National Advisory Committee includes further assessing matters discussed by the Local Advisory Committees, assisting the Exchange in both understanding and reconciling different regional views and assisting the Exchange in taking actions that are responsive to the needs of industry and which take into account regional considerations.
The Committees serve in an advisory capacity only and the advice, recommendations and views of each Committee are not binding upon the Exchange in any manner, however, their advice, recommendations and views form an important component of the Exchange's consideration of the relevant issues. The current membership of the Local Advisory Committees and National Advisory Committee is provided below.
For more information on the TSX Venture policy advisory committees, contact an advisory committee member. Contact information for the National Advisory Committee and partial lists of the regional policy advisory committees are provided below.
