In addition, Altai retains a 15% gross royalty in the adjoining permit of 13,290 hectares (33,000 acres) held by Talisman Energy Canada, and a 50% joint venture interest in Malartic gold property in the Val d'Or area, Quebec.

  • 100% interest in the largest uncommitted (not farmed-out) contiguous land package of 114,252 hectares (282,317 acres) in the heart of the St. Lawrence Lowlands Utica Shale Gas Fairway.
  • 15% gross royalty in a permit of 13,290 hectares (33,000 acres) now held by Talisman Energy Canada in the same area of the Sorel-Trois Rivieres property.
  • Very good exploration potential including Utica shale gas in all Altai permits based on recent developments in the St. Lawrence Lowlands.
  • Deep (800 meters) gas target: a NE trending collapse zone 34 km long averaging 1 km in width. The zone may extend another 20 km to the SW (see maps linked).
  • Shallow gas targets: 23 shallow targets (less than 150 meters deep) identified by seismic survey. Two have been drilled, both with gas discoveries.
