A suite of integrated pressure control services to onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration companies around the world. The Well Intervention segment consists of services that are designed to enhance production for oil and gas operators and reduce the number and severity of critical well events such as well fires, blowouts or other losses of control at the well.
This segment includes services performed by hydraulic workover and snubbing units and the rental of pressure control tools that are used to enhance production at the wells.
The scope of these services also includes prevention services such as training, contingency planning, well plan reviews, audits, inspection services and engineering services offered through our Safeguard risk management programs.
The Response segment consists of personnel, equipment and services provided during an emergency response such as a critical well event or a hazardous material response.
Boots & Coots is the pressure control expert, in the oil and gas industry.
Most of our personnel trained and worked under well control pioneers, Red Adair, Boots Hansen and Coots Matthews. Boots & Coots has carried on the tradition as the premier well control and emergency response company in the world
Snubbing/Hydraulic Workover Our hydraulic workover/snubbing specialists are the most skilled in the industry and our approach provides the most flexible means of repairing, re-entering or completing a well—without having to kill it by using overbalanced fluids that can damage sensitive formations.
We manufacture much of our own equipment, resulting in a faster, fit-for-purpose deliverable. Our stand-alone units are modular, so they can be moved by truck or a single boatload and hoisted by existing cranes in offshore environments. For faster, more economical workovers under live well conditions, our truck-mounted hydraulic rig-assist units provide for quick and easy rig-ups.
