Advancing Two Copper-Molybdenum Discoveries

Linear Metals Corporation Profile

Linear Metals Corporation (TSX: LRM) is an aggressive junior explorer focused on molybdenum, copper, silver and zinc projects in Canada and Mexico.

Exploration is focused on projects that have the potential to deliver large-scale success. The company's management has a strong background in exploration and development success, as many of its senior management and staff are from mid-tier and senior mining companies.

At its flagship project, Cobre Grande, Linear has outlined a significant zone of mineralization with a strike length measuring over 1.6 kilometres, hosting coppper, molybdenum, zinc and silver. In addition to its portfolio of projects, Linear Metals is continually evaluating opportunities for acquisition.

The Cobre Grande Copper-Molybdenum-Zinc-Silver Mineral Deposit

A Porphyry Related Skarn

The Cobre Grande project is located in Oaxaca State, Mexico, proximal to good infrastructure. The Main Zone has been drilled over a 1.6km strike length. In May 2008, Linear Metals completed an initial inferred Mineral Resource Estimate on the Main Zone, outlining 49.8 million tonnes of 0.92% copper equivalent. Since the completion of the Mineral Resource Estimate, Linear Metals has made a new, potentially significant, discovery in the NW Skarn area, 500 metres west of the Main Zone. The NW Skarn is thought to be parallel to the Main Zone. Exploration drilling will continue to assess the NW Skarn plus other exploration targets with the goal of adding to the Mineral Resource Estimate base of the project.

KM61 Mo-Cu-Ag Discovery

Linear Metals’ KM61 molybdenum-copper project is well located approximately 60 kilometres east of Armstrong, Ontario. The KM61 property is located in the Caribou Greenstone Belt, which trends ENE along the top of Lake Nipigon, near the northern margin of the Wabigoon Subprovince.

KM61 Highlights

  • Large “porphyry” system with disseminated and stockwork hosted Mo-Cu-Ag mineralization
  • Molybdenum intersected over strike length of 1.6km and 300m width
  • Plus 0.05% Mo intersected over 300 m core lengths
  • Mineralization open for expansion at depth
  • 25,000 metre drill program to delineate deposit nearing completion
  • NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate in 2008
