Silver Shield Resources is a public company whose principal business is the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resource properties in Northern Ontario and Mexico with a focus on silver. Silver Shield is currently a party to option agreements pertaining to five different properties including the Welsh Mine Property in the historically prolific silver producing Elk Lake-Gowganda area of Ontario and the La Cumbre Property in Guerrero, Mexico. The company completed a 43-101 compliant technical report on the Welsh Property in January 2007 following an exploration program in 2006.
