After reading these articles I am more convinced than ever that electrovaya will be working with Daimler and Nissan. http://www.daimler.com/dccom/0-5-7153-1-1746728-1-0-0-0-0-0-9293-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0.html So is it a coincidence that Daimler is getting out of the battery business at the very same time that nissan is considering getting out as well? They obviously have made major commitments together and are sharing technology. http://www.autonews.com/article/20140917/BLOG06/140919855/scrap-nissans-leaf-battery-plant?-hardly If we are right and it is the Daimler plant in Germany that electrovaya has taken over than it is no stretch to think that if electrovaya will be supplying batteries to Daimler then it would be easy to assume that it could include the Nissan-Renault alliance. This article is a few years old but shows the battery alliance as well. http://green.autoblog.com/2011/05/23/report-renault-nissan-in-battery-related-talks-with-daimler/ I have to believe that both companies exiting battery production at the same time was planned and that the takeover of the Germany plant indicates who they are going with.
