Making Money

There are many investment styles and if you like Junior Small Cap stocks there are many different ways of making money.

If you are like me and have watched your investment in a company go up from your initial entry point and then come crashing down again you may want to think about taking profits ...at some point...along the way... when you can.

We all would like to be in an ARU-like stock from the beginning but the fact is that will rarely happen and if you are near a computer you can still get in on that kind of stock even after it starts to head up...if you do your homework.

Placing yourself in a stock at the bottom is one way to ensure that at least you have a chance to capitalize on good news. We do that with research and "DD". Investigating a company before we invest is a necessity. Finding these stocks can be accomplished thru the Bullboards, from newsletters, TV shows and countless other formats. But it's always up to you to choose where, ultimatley to put your money.

Another way to make money is to find the momentum plays. Area Plays are the easiest to follow as volatility and momentum are the norm. As with certain investments (ie.silver) there is huge upside potential but also huge risk.

When and what to buy is not always the hard part. Knowing when it's time to take profits or to exit a stock is difficult. You can accomplish this by selling half or equal thirds on the way out.(or in)

Most banks are now offering cheaper rates for "Active Traders" with a few perks thrown in like realtime stock streamers and Level 2.

Area plays usually have a flagship stock that has a big discovery and then 4 or 5 other companies in that immediate area, that tag along when the main stock releases news ...up and down.

For those of you that already know all this I apologize...just putting some thoughts down.
