I asked someone in the mining industry and familiar with Tyhee, what he considers to be the current going value for gold reserves (US$/oz) in Canada or in the NWT?............................... He told me it comes down to what someone might be willing to pay for the YGP. They'd have to finish the permitting, probably re-do a lot of the planning and engineering and start producing, all the while looking for the best NPV and IRR. Obviously the projected gold price and timing are also a big factors........... While you might value the reserves at an operating open pit mine in Nevada at $3-400/ounce, he thinks Tyhee would be very lucky to attract $100. Probably $50-75.
