AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

I haven't been logging in to Agoracom for a while... too darn slow to load! Anyway, sure it is a good idea, although it does need to be done with some care; I know that in my personal life, I react badly to things that are pushed in my face. Receiving a telemarketing call is a guarantee that I will never use that company. Ever. I guess it's a bit different in the business world.

More to the point, the company should find companies in a similar situation, draw their attention to it and go with the "they had this problem, let us ensure you don't suffer the same fate" line.

Andy's a bit depressed about small cap stocks at the moment; they all seem to be grossly undervalued. We may all get a lift when people start to rotate out of oil stocks.
