my two cents:

like all real estate deals its all about location,location,location. If this were on the Jersey shore the stock would be through the roof. On the other hand, if this were on the Jersey shore there would never have been the opportunity for "common folk" like us to buy in at bargain prices. It's a gamble because of where it is. There is only a range of mountains between Yemen and Oman and Yemen is going Shiite (read Iranian Influence). The sultan is very sick, the king of Saudia Arabia just died and these are not stable democracies with well established rules of succession... and the US is showing disinterest to say the least.

It's a no-brainer that there is more than the average element of risk in this venture. And big money eschews risk. We have bought into it for better or worse. The good news is that Frank is a superstar and, in my opinion, will pull it off if the political situation remains reasonably stable.

But there is risk.. no reward without it.
