In my experience, any worthy CEO is working well in excess of 60 hrs a week. Usually more like 80 hrs. Unions have nothing to do with how a CEO functions. Successful CEOs don't think in "hours" they think strategy, targets, goals and results. The hours it takes is just the cost of doing business. They put the time in because they are passionate and love what they do.
