Pro Minerals Inc. and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the Company has completed an exploration program consisting of blasting and sampling, on its Cairo Project which is located near the town of Matachewan, Ontario. Quartz veining with copper, silver and lead mineralization was uncovered in three of four test blasted trenches.
Up to 11.35% copper, 26.25 oz/ton silver and 24.45% lead was encountered at the intersection of a quartz vein, one-half metre in width, containing approximately 20% galena and 20% chalcopyrite with a smaller quartz vein of approximately 40% galena. Assay results from this location yielded the following:

Copper, silver and lead mineralization was also encountered in quartz veins at two blast trenches 15 and 54 feet (4.5 & 16.7 meters) north of the above-location. Grab sample assays from these locations yielded the following results:

On the recommendation of the Company’s geologist, the Company intends to undertake a follow-up program consisting of additional trenching and sampling, an SP (self potential) and VLF/MAG surveys during the spring field season to determine the direction and extent of the mineralization.
The Cairo project consists of an area of approximately 1,000 hectares in the north-central portion of Cairo Township, Ontario. The property lies 37 kms south of Timmins, 46 kms west of Kirkland Lake and 4 kms from the town of Matachewan.
