AGORACOM NEWS FLASH

Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

Sincerely,

George et al

I found this on the USDA website in relation to the announcement in February 2008 that BNC was given the go ahead for conditional approval in the US.

USDA AGREES TO GRANT CONDITIONAL LICENSE FOR E. COLI VACCINE (117 wires
2/5) USDA has notified Bioniche Life Sciences Inc. that the latest data for
the company’s E. coli 0157:H7 cattle vaccine meets the “expectations of
efficacy” standard and is eligible for a conditional license, provided
Bioniche develops a plan that would collect sufficient data to move the
product to full licensure. Bioniche said its vaccine is the world’s first
that may be used as an on-farm intervention to block the amount of E. coli
0157:H7 shed by cattle. Shares of Bioniche, a small Canadian
biopharmaceutical company, jumped 50 percent Tuesday after USDA approved
data related to the vaccine, paving the way for its use in the U.S. by the
middle of the year.

Its interesting, that the BNC news release did not state anything about being available
later this year.
