---make money both ways. First, they are short the common and long the debentures. They will take advantage of retail investor uncertainity and fear of loss or, a piece of negative news to drive the SP down and cover their shorts. Then they will participate in the SP breakout of the common shares through their long position in the Debentures. Meanwhile, they pick up the yield on the debentures which is now better than 12%! We saw the initial attempt to sow fear of loss yesterday when they intraday drove the SP sub $3.00!
