Brian,

CLL debenture nominal rate is 4.75%. Not a 4.5%. Effective annual rate if you buy them at $92 is 5.16% . Rate to Maturity(June 2012 ) at this price in is 3.54%.

Could you please explain how someone can make good profit by buying the CLL debenture and selling the CLL share short as per your suggestion. Give us some example so we can see how this could work in real numbers. 12%+ yield as in your posted looks very attractive.
