Without question, the US is presently using devaluation of the US$ as a means of dealing with their defecits and cumulative debt. Concurrently, this, along with the explosive demand growth in the developing world is the principal reason that all commodities are and have been in a bullish mode.

Unless the US can maintain its position as a producer of high value added cutting edge technology, which I personally doubt, I see no way the US can remain competitive in World markets.

As a US citizen, I wish that such was not the case. However, I believe it is!
