`Until such time as Petrolifera proves itself as a worthhile, susainable and accretive asset to Connacher, to bring it in as a Division of Connacher would bring undue risk to Connacher itself. Best to allow it to exist as a subsidiary wtih no intercompany debt guarantees, which could imperil Connacher itself.
