There are traditional long term investors and short term ones. The general consensus is that the new market will only be kind to the short term type. If you look at Connacher's stock price, its low was about .51 in US dollars back in March and it is currently selling for about .97 US dollars. Since its low it has gained over 90% in about 7 months. The S&P 500 has gained about 64% and the Dow Jones about 53%, so since March it has significantly out performed the overall market. If you had your money in traditional savings accounts, you probably didn't even make 1%!

To those who are considering bailing, my advice would be if you are going to do it, do it and don't look back thinking that you can always get back in. You may be able to, but what happens if there is a black knight attempt at a take over or a suddenly announced partnership with a major? You will not be able to get back in, in time to take advantage of it.
