Dear Agoracom Family,

I want to thank all of you for your patience with us over the past 48 hours and apologize for what was admittedly a botched launch of our new site.

As you can see, we have reverted back to the previous version of the site while we address multiple forum functionality flaws that inexplicably made their way into the launch.

To this end:

1.We have identified 8 fundamental but easily fixable flaws that will be corrected in the coming week, so that you can continue to use the forums exactly as you've been accustomed to.

2.Additionally we will also be implementing a couple of design improvements to "tighten up" the look and feel of the forums.

So - the Middle East bourses (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrein) are down over 5% today. This is the second time in four years that US financial and fiscal irresponsibility is wacking the world economy.

The GOP should be renamed the Know Nothing Party - their brinkmanship regarding tax increases (NO NEW TAXES!!!) can be described as stupid, dishonest, corrupt, uneducated, irresponsible - pick an adjective, pick all of 'em, they all apply.

So I was wondering how the Republican Party would explain the damage they have done - silly me, I should have expected this: it's all Obama's fault!

PS - Carl Rove is at it again - a new series of TV commercials, placing the responsibility of the debt on Obama's shoulders, notwithstanding the FACT that of the B$14 total debt, B$6 was incurred under Dubbya's administration (2 wars, a disasterous drug plan, tax cuts for the rich).
