Over on the SH board, there are some posters, including a couple of former "longs" who were very positive on this stock, who are now pointing to CUU's share price as supposed confirmation that there's little hope for the future.

None of them ever mentions that insiders haven't bailed on the Fox.

Regardless, rather than respond on SH, where the bashers swarm, I am providing some context here by way of direct comparison.

So I decided to pick some relatively well-known copper plays -- some of them are not ideal comparisons, but they are juniors that allow us to get a sense of the broader picture.

Stock 3 mos. 6 mos. 1 year

Copper Fox -31% -47% +61%

Western Copper -39% -47% -9%

Baja Mining -21% -31% -33%

Copper Mountain -32% -40% +1%

Coro Mining -8.5% -67% -53%

Candente Copper +6% -22% +29.5%

Minera Andes -22.6% -30% -14.7%

So, yes it's true, the past several months have not been good for CUU. But all those copper juniors have suffered during that period.

But look at that one-year performance. None of the others out-performs our Foxy. None.

I'll be sitting and waiting for the BFS and the buyout, thank you very much.
