I don't think it is ever a mistake to sell.
If all of us sold and drove the stock down we would likely be able to buy back at cheaper levels. If Webgogs sold at .78 and the he sticks around and is able to put most of his money back in at .40 cents (some of it got spent on beer and dinner) then good on him as he will come out ahead.
At the worst the stock levels off and rebounds before he buys back in and he ends up putting him money back in at 90 cents at least he has saved himself the ulser of being on the ride. It is really the right thing to do.
