Tricky question and topic, but this far in the game, and the knowledge EE may know about company news and activity can not buy shares on the open market especially if he benefits from the transactions. Insider purchases on the open market is legal but may not be in this situation currently. WW is right on this. But, being an "Insider" EE has an obligation to shareholders, we are priority. EE has a duty/responsible to the welfare of shareholders not his personal ambition so he can not accept a low offer from Teck because he may make hundreds of millions on that "low offer". Thank God EE is an Insider lol.
