I'm not getting too excited. Metals are reacting to Ben Bernanke's comments the QE will be required in the U.S. for some time to come.

It was jitters over the U.S. government tapering its stimulus/bond buying that sent copper and precious metals plummeting in the first place, that and continued contraction in China and other BRIC countries.

Even with today's "spike" copper is steal sitting at a measly $3.17.

There could still be a lot of bumps in the road over the remainder of the summer.
