"If I was EE, I would keep a few $M from the (hopefully) imminent sale of SC and poke the holes needed into EH and MM to advance them to next stage. For the cost of those drills and the potential value add it would be worth it"


As far as I know this is the plan. But plans can change, especially with CF.
